Argan Organics & Fine Moroccan Perfumes

Welcome to Berber Sources Argan Organics & Fine Moroccan Perfumes

Berber Sources Argan Organics and Fine Moroccan PerfumesAfter a successful decade importing rare and unique hand-crafted objects from Morocco, which we are constantly replenishing in our MOROCCAN GIFTS section, we are venturing in a slightly new direction, encouraged by our clients’ ever increasing interest in pure, organic products based on argan oil from Morocco.

Following their lead, we have identified superb product lines, sourcing the argan oil always in the same way: from the remote groves of argan trees in the berber region of southwestern Morocco.

By tradition, this land and the products of the once-endangered argan trees belong to the women who harvest them and extract their precious oil. We are extremely proud to have been the first importers of both the culinary and cosmetic argan oils, as well as the most comprehensive importer of more than a dozen scents from L’Orientaliste perfumes and argan-based massage oils.

Sample the sophisticated scents that transcend the ages, created by one of the most celebrated "noses" in the world. Our newest scents are Patchouli, Lalla (a sweet, soft blend with dark floral notes), Ajar (a profoundly spicy, rich, sophisticated blend), Divan (tender, deeply lingering fragrance suggesting modern floral/spice melange), Sidi (a deeper vetiver, green and rounded blend for men).

These precious fragances are beautifully presented in brown kraft boxes with hand-lettered black embossing. But the outside is only the first promise of sweeter things to come.

From The Ritz in Paris to the Daydream Health Spa in Dublin and L’Heure Bleue (of the Relais & Chateaux Group) in Essaouira, luxury and organic purity have found the perfect pairing in Kaeline Argatherapie – the highly refined blending of 100% argan oil sourced in southwestern Morocco with aromatic essential oils such as rose, lavender, and rosemary. Packaged in elegant, sophisticated frosted glass flacons designed in southwestern France, the range of these exceptional products is impressive.

In addition to being 100% vegan, they are paraben free, use no animal testing, are non-greasy due to rapid absorption since the high amounts of unsaturated fatty acids increase the skin’s ability to absorb through the pores and react at the cellular level. But it is the sterols that put argan oil in a class by itself, different from all other oils: phytosterols, plant-derived, help skin metabolize thereby delaying signs of aging through smoothing and softening, stimulating pore detoxification, and renewing the natural lipid barrier.

This exquisitely rich oil from the kernel of the argan nut grown in the region around Essaouira, west of Marrakech, has truly earned its reputation. We are delighted to add this new beauty line to our already flourishing plain organic argan oil and the 14 elegant, beautifully packaged fragrances from L’Orientaliste which have been reviewed in Vogue magazine several times – Fleur d’oranger, Rose de l’Atlas, Jasmin, Vanille, Gardenia, Mimosa, Patchouli, Musc, Ambre, Lala, Divan, Santal, Sidi, Ajar.
