About the Artisans
Look at their eyes, hear their voices, touch their hands. They are Morocco. They are the real inspiration for Berber Sources.

More than 20% of the population, including women in rural areas, create limited quantities of these crafts and furnishings. We were warmly welcomed into their homes and workplaces where we talked about techniques, materials, visual traditions, and family closeness.
From mother to daughter, father to son, the heritage is passed on, and with it a strong sense of cultural identity in the Berber communities of the Rif mountains to the north, the eastern and central High Atlas, the valleys of the Dadès and the Todra, the Souss plain, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
