ARGON OIL - Brilliantly presented in display glass “test tube” shape wrapped in a rainbow of colored corrugated tied with raffia from which to choose, this 100% organic first cold-pressed argon oil, exclusively from southwestern Morocco, is a priceless natural resource.

It has been used for centuries by the Berber women, who have the sole legal rights to hand-harvest the nuts from the trees on their land, to heal scar tissue, treat acne, fortify nails, and nourish both scalp and hair. The unique qualities of cosmetic argon oil derive from its high content of vitamin E and lineolic acid that deeply moisturizes the skin, protecting against environmental aggressions by neutralizing free radicals. Better oxygenated, cells are replenished and revitalized, small wrinkles attenuated.

Our argon oil is filtered five times for purity and a completely non-greasy feel. It was selected at the NY International Gift Show for exhibition at the Sustainablility display (August 2007) because, aside from its remarkable natural properties, its production, still entirely by hand, provides poor rural Berber women with an opportunity to earn a living outside the home and independent of the male members of their household.
