Splendid brass tray, several generations old, in good condition. Used for celebrating the Pesach holidays, intricately carved over the entire surface with a verbatim Kiddush passage from the Haggadah and central medallion design motif. Exquisite workmanship on sculpted rim, the likes of which one does not see anymore. One of a kind. (25 1/2" diameter)

Grapes with leaf tendrils embellish this heavy older Pesach tray at the center of which is a continuation of the floral element in the form of a large star of David. Andalusian design most likely from Fes. We brought it back from a family in the north of Morocco. Highly polished brass. (19" diam.)
